Topic:  What the Deerfield Water Reclamation Facility is, What it Does, and Where We are Headed
Presenter: Brandon Janes, Water Reclamation Facility Superintendent for the Village of Deerfield. He will show slides on the processes that wastewater goes through to meet the federal and state requirements that the treatment plant is designed to meet.

Topic:  Equip Underserved Youth with Workforce and Life Skills – Young Women at Curt’s Cafe in Evanston on Dempster
Presenter: Representatives from Curt’s Cafe Will speak and Present a Video About Their Mission to equip underserved Youth with workforce and life skills through restaurant training, counseling, mentoring, tutoring, career coaching and job placement.

Nov. 14 – Tuesday, 7:00p.m.
Topic: The Challenges of INternational Trans Border Water Systems
Location: Patty Turner Senior Center, 375 Elm St., Deerfield, IL
Presenter: Dr. Rachel Havrelock of the UIC Freshwater Lab, Associate Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago addresses the Challenges of international Trans border water systems, jointly sponsored by League of Women Voters
